Epson projector

Our Epson projectors support direct playing of video and image from USBs. JPEG files can be displayed and also played via a slideshow, when placed in the appropriate folder on the USB.

Video files are a little more complicated.

  1. Download from YouTube via Real Player Downloader
  2. File will be in MP4 format
  3. Open the Windows application http://www.any-video-converter.com/
Any Video Converter – DVD Converter, Video Converter – converts YouTube videos, 4K Video, DivX, XviD, MOV, rm, rmvb, MPEG, VOB, DVD, WMV, AVI to MPEG-4, MPEG-2, MPEG-1, 3GP, FLV movie format for Zune, PSP, iPod, iPhone like iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C or other portable video device, Apple TV, MP4 player and smart phone.
  4. Convert MP4 to Customised AVI format selecting MJPEG codec for video and PCM codec for audio
(I downloaded this video conversion application in Trial version, which is good for videos with a maximum length of 3 minutes)

Note: For some reason, the Mock poster image, which is in JPEG format and currently stored in Google Docs, cannot be displayed by the Epson projector. This is in spite of the fact that the projector can and does display other JPEG format image files. To solve this, I have saved the Google Docs image as .PNG, .BMP and .GIF files, all of which seem to have no problem to be displayed.
