The easiest way to start a group is to go to the most similar group currently existing (because you can copy a lot of information). If a group exists these are the steps.
- Edit the existing group
- Save it (without making any changes)
- Click ‘Add Next’
- This will create a group with the same information as the previous group
- Alter the information that is different for this group, making sure the following is correct
- Course
- Level
- Name (in correct format)
- Enumerate classes is ‘According to the due date’
- Enter the lesson length in minutes
- Make sure the dates are correct
- If the coursebook is known enter it
- The student limit should be 12 (unless it will be in room 2, in which case it’s 10)
- Min. number is 4, and add booking period as 2
- Select the correct default payment scheme
- THEN change the price of the course to the default price.
E.G. If the payment scheme changes the price to €285 (€235 + €50 matricula) change it back to €235, which is the course price. - If the marking group scheme is known for this group (exception will be before the director of studies has confirmed the marking group scheme for the year)
- Go to the Mark Group Schemes tab, and select the appropriate scheme
(e.g. GE 3 hour (Lower) Trim1)
- Go to the Mark Group Schemes tab, and select the appropriate scheme
