Procedures for payment schemes and discounts

All groups have a default payment scheme, and you will only have to change it if the student is paying monthly.

To change payment schemes, or to apply discounts, the key is to know the following codes:

KT – Kids and teens
GE – General English

There are others like LSS, KLSS, Exam, etc., but KT and GE are the important ones.

The next part of the code is the number of hours per week. So we have

KT2 – 2 hours
GE3 – The normal 3 hour courses
GE4 – The proficiency course
GE10 – The intensive course

Changing payment scheme

You can change the payment scheme by typing the code above and selecting the correct option. For example, someone in Upp MW10 16/17 Trim1 wants to pay monthly, you need to remember that the this group is a General English 3 hour a week course. Typing GE3 into the Payment Scheme selection brings up

GE3-16 Trim
GE3-16 Monthly

Select the Monthly one, and click Overwrite. Now it’s changed to monthly payments.

Applying a discount

Make sure you have the correct payment scheme as above. Now you need to know the discount you want to apply (10% / 20%) and the code KT2, GE3, as above.

Now you can type in the percentage and code like this 10%-GE3 and you will see the option to discount for a Trimester paid or Monthly paid case. You must choose the same as the payment scheme (above).

For example, typing 10%-GE3 will show

10%-GE3-Trim
10%-GE3-Monthly

Select the correct case, and the discount will be applied.
