This is the procedure to capture daily movements to the student total. It tracks these movements roughly. The definitive figure is done on a Friday, and these are corrected every Friday, ready for the following weeks movements to be roughly tracked. This is just the daily task, the weekly reconciliation is covered in the How to … weekly sign-ups reconciliation task

• in LangLion run reports > reports > Groups – Number of free spots
• look at the bottom total number in the Current number of students column and note this number
• in the name column type lss, and again note the bottom total number in the Current number of students column
• go to the sign up stats spreadsheet
• for today’s date, enter the total number into column D – Total on report
• for today’s date, enter the lss number into column E – LSS
• copy the day, and create a line for tomorrow
